Jillian Willis hails from Northern Virginia where she taught Middle School Social Studies for two years and also coached Varsity Girls Volleyball and Middle School Girls Soccer. She received her B.A. in History from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC and completed her M.Ed. at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.
Christian education with a biblical worldview is Jillian’s passion. According to Coach Willis, “The classroom is today’s battleground for truth. Christian education has never been so pivotal in the development of the next generation of believers than it is today. I am honored to partner with the parents, faculty, and staff of Dominion Christian Schools in a teaching and coaching capacity.”
Coach Willis has been coaching and training athletes since her college years. Her perspective on Christian athleticism is about practicing hard, playing hard, and giving God the glory regardless of the outcome of the contest. She believes strongly in good sportsmanship and team building. In regards to taking on two coaching positions, she says, “Growing up, volleyball and soccer were my loves, outside of History class, and being able to share my passion and excitement for not just one, but both sports is truly a blessing.”
Coach Willis looks forward to using her gifting in teaching and coaching to minister to the Dominion Christian Schools family and is thankful for the opportunity.
